Disappearing…Series: The Last Episode

Ding Yi Music Company brought together a diverse group of artistes to create and perform this collaborative piece. My role was to conduct interviews with selected artisans and, through film, document how their crafts are deeply interwoven with their lives. The featured profiles include Uncle Herny, who makes lion heads; Uncle and Aunty Chen, who weave rattan; and Uncle Wahab, who crafts songkoks. The film is presented on screen alongside original music composed by local musicians and performed by the Chinese orchestra.
